Vice Mayor Efimov: thanks to the support of the city, the Rostokinsky plant of reinforced concrete structures increased the number of jobs by 2.7 times

The modernization of the Rostokinsky ZhBK has been completed. It was conducted by DSK1-Rostokino as part of the implementation of a special investment contract (SPIC), signed in 2019.

“As part of the SPIC, the investor invested 2.6 billion rubles in the modernization of the capital’s Rostokinsk plant, which specializes in the production of reinforced concrete structures. The molding and reinforcing shops were completely re-equipped, new high-tech auxiliary equipment was installed. As a result of modernization, the number of jobs at the plant has grown from 410 to 1,087,” said Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Moscow Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.

The plant’s products are increasingly in demand in the market. Therefore, it was decided to expand the investment program, adding to it an increase in the capacity of the enterprise. The second stage of modernization was developed, which will be completed in 2023.

“After the expansion, the plant has three lines, modernized in 2021. Their capacity is 160 thousand cubic meters of reinforced concrete per year. Now it is planned to increase production capacity by launching an additional line,” said Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Investment and Industrial Policy Department.

Modernization and increase in the capacity of the reinforced concrete complex is necessary for the First House-Building Plant, which builds 500,000 square meters of housing per year.
