Residents of apartment buildings (MKD) can take ownership of the land under the building. The Department of City Property of Moscow has already developed 88 land surveying projects for residential areas with a total area of over 2,000 hectares, said Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations. Henceforth, the owners of apartments in the MKD, located there, can register the land under the house and around it in common shared ownership.
Since the beginning of 2022, the city has determined the boundaries of land plots for another 1740 MKD at the expense of the budget. According to Vice Mayor Yefimov, now the owners of the premises in them can put the land on the cadastral register and dispose of it: make decisions on landscaping, landscaping, installing a playground, barriers, etc.
“From January to the end of August 2022, at the request of residents, land plots under 134 houses have already been registered for cadastral registration. If cadastral work has not yet been carried out for the house, then any owner of residential or non-residential premises in the house can apply to the Department with such a request, ”said Maxim Gaman, Minister of the Moscow Government, Head of the City Property Department.
Meanwhile, the registration of the territory in the property does not relieve users of a number of obligations. Residents must provide unhindered access to the site for fire equipment, police vehicles, ambulances and rescuers.
