Private medical organizations and clinics can count on preferential rates when renting premises from the city. Now 191 contracts have been concluded for non-residential areas in the capital. This was announced by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations Vladimir Yefimov.

“As part of systemic support, private medical organizations, after obtaining the appropriate license for their activities, rent premises from the capital at a rate of 3.5 thousand rubles per square meter per year under contracts concluded without bidding,” the vice mayor said.

Yefimov added that today entrepreneurs receive such benefits under 191 agreements with the city. Thanks to such support, they have already saved 1.6 billion rubles over the past three years.

The Moscow healthcare system in a broad sense includes private medical centers and clinics, so it is very important to support them, in particular in the form of rent reduction. The money that companies save in doing so can be used to improve the quality of service, new medical equipment or staff development.

According to the head of the DGI Maxim Gaman, private medical organizations that previously received premises without tenders and transferred to a preferential rental rate occupy urban premises with a total area of more than 56,000 square meters. Thanks to city support, this year they can save 532 million rubles.
