Vice Mayor Efimov: absorbent underwear will be delivered to municipal social institutions under an offset contract

The investor, who will be selected based on the results of the competition for the conclusion of an offset contract, will create the production of absorbent underwear for the needs of the city. It will have to supply at least 44 million adult diapers and diapers annually.

“For the new production, the capital will provide the investor with a site on the territory of the Rudnevo industrial park, the construction of which is at the final stage. The minimum investment in production under the terms of the agreement is 300 million rubles,” said Vladimir Yefimov, Deputy Moscow Mayor for Economic Policy and Property and Land Relations.

The supply of diapers will begin no later than the fourth quarter of next year, it is planned to purchase 33 million items per year. Diapers will begin to be produced a year later, they will be purchased by about 11 million products annually.

Recall that the mechanism of offset contracts began to work in the capital in 2016 and shows itself as one of the most effective tools for creating import-substituting industries in the region.

According to Vladislav Ovchinsky, Head of the Department for Investment and Industrial Policy of Moscow, socially important categories of goods are still in focus.

“Recently, we announced a decision to hold an electronic tender for an offset contract for the supply of medical furniture. The investment in this project is estimated at 250 million rubles,” he explained.
