Vice-Governor of the Moscow Region Khromushin said that the heating emergency in Podolsk was hidden from the authorities for a day
The situation with heat supply in Podolsk was hidden from the regional authorities for a day. Vice-Governor of the Moscow Region Evgeny Khromushin spoke about this in his Telegram channel.
He said that the emergency, as a result of which 173 houses were left without heat supply, occurred at the departmental boiler house of the Klimovsky cartridge plant. It is a sensitive enterprise, and therefore was not controlled by the administration of the Moscow region as part of the campaign to prepare for winter.
According to preliminary information released by Khromushin, there was a power outage at the boiler room, followed by a water hammer. Since the boiler room is not included in the unified regional heat supply control system, data about the accident was not automatically received there. “The owner of the boiler house hid the situation from us…For almost a day, the authorities were in the dark until they received feedback from residents through social networks, for which we are grateful to them. After which, we took measures and landed several teams, the problem was in entering the facility, since it is sensitive,” the vice-governor specified in the Telegram channel.
At the moment, according to Khromushin, heat has been supplied to 45 houses out of 173. The vice-governor promised to eliminate the main heating problem during the evening and night. He clarified that more than 150 people are working at the scene of the accident. In addition to the emergency crews themselves, these are employees of five large regional utility companies.
The vice-governor also promised that residents would be recalculated for heat, including taking into account the fact that they are now forced to cope with the situation using electric heaters.
Earlier, in the north-eastern part of the Klimovsk microdistrict in Podolsk, a local emergency situation was introduced due to a heating outage. On Friday, specialists were able to connect the first 20 houses in the neighborhood to heating.
