American video game company Valve presented updated virtual reality application SteamVR 2.0, which has new features. The company has been developing a new version of the application since 2019; the beta version has been available since September of this year.
The updated SteamVR now includes almost all the features from the original Steam application and Steam Deck, improved keyboard support for dual-cursor typing, and new languages, emoticons and themes. We added support for voice and text chat, and simplified access to Steam notifications. An improved Steam store has appeared, in which virtual reality games now appear in the first place. Earlier media reportedthat Valve may be working on a new VR headset, but the company only announced a software update.
Steam previously announced that from November 20 will remove the ability to buy games in Argentina and Turkey in local currencies. Instead, users will be able to purchase games in US dollars.
