WITH April 30 to May 8 in Vladikavkaz, festive events are held in honor of this most unique and large-scale project in the centuries-old history of the Theater. Evg. Vakhtangov. About 450 Vakhtangov and theater friends arrived in Vladikavkaz. Celebrations have started leading theater artists and the leadership of the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, who were planted near the House Vakhtangov’s lilac, the favorite flower of Yevgeny Bagrationovich, which became a symbol of the theater he created. Then The grand opening of the Vakhtangov House took place, in which the head of the republic Sergey Menyailo, representatives of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, director of the theater Kirill Krok, theater artists, as well as Dina Vakhtangov, the great-granddaughter of the director, took part. The solemn part will end with the first exclusive tour for guests. Yesterday, on Freedom Square, next to the Vakhtangov House, a grandiose opening concert took place. “Vakhtangov. THE WAY HOME”.
