US to start training Ukrainian military on Patriot missile system

In the United States, next week, the Ukrainian military will begin training on the Patriot missile system. This is reported by CNN, citing informed officials.
The training program will take place at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. The US is now conducting its own advanced air defense system operation and maintenance exercises there. Fort Sill is one of the US Army’s four base training centers and has trained gunners in the field for over a century.
Training Ukrainians in the complex system will take “several months,” said Laura Cooper, deputy assistant secretary of defense for Russian, Ukrainian and Eurasian affairs. At the same time, she refused to name specific deadlines for completing the training.
