US authorities refused Musk to test the neurochip on humans

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has refused a request from Elon Musk-founded Neuralink to issue a permit for human testing of the neurochip.
Recall that Neuralink studies suggest using these brain implants, for example, to restore the motor activity of paralyzed vision – the blind.
It is noted that the refusal by the FDA was due to the existence of many problems that the company must solve before testing on humans. First of all, we are talking about the device’s lithium battery, the potential for tiny implant wires to migrate to other areas of the brain, and the problems of removing the device without damaging the brain tissue.
