Ural Airlines will pay compensation to a farmer in the Ubinsk district for damage to property, said the head of the district, Oleg Konyuk. According to preliminary estimates, compensation could amount to up to 500 thousand rubles. It is noted that during Airbus A320 emergency landing In the wheat field, part of the crop was lost.
“Now the owner of the field is calculating the amount of damage. The initiative belongs to the airline; they directly approached the farmer with this proposal,” explained Mr. Konyuk.
According to the head of the Ubinsky district, the farmer himself does not intend to go to court to recover damages. Aircraft technicians are currently working at the emergency landing site, using a jack to try to lift the plane. The board is 15–20 cm deep into the ground. Specialists are inspecting the aircraft for cracks, but so far no cracks have been identified, says Oleg Konyuk. The inspection will show whether the aircraft can be transported.
Air accident with an Airbus A320 happened on September 12. The aircraft landed in a field in the Ubinsky district of the Novosibirsk region. There were 161 people on board, 21 of them children. Four people turned to doctors for help. The Investigative Committee of Russia (ICR) opened a criminal case into the incident. As reported by the press service of the Eastern Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, the case is being investigated under Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (violation of traffic safety rules and operation of air transport).
