In addition, the message clarifies that the cause of the malfunction of one of the hydraulic systems was identified and eliminated.
The air carrier’s press service also added that the aircraft will remain in the field until it is transported, which may take several months, so storage work needs to be done on the aircraft. Ural Airlines indicated that fencing is currently being placed around the Airbus, and it is expected that it will be ready by the end of this week. To ensure a stable position of the aircraft on the ground, wooden platforms were prepared on which the aircraft was installed.
It is also clarified that the aircraft is under round-the-clock supervision by security company employees, for whom warm temporary shelters for six people have been installed. Three engineers from the aviation technical center and the airline are also working at the landing site of the aircraft, and will remain there until the work is completed and the aircraft is mothballed.
