The head of Rosobrnadzor, Anzor Muzaev, said that in the next 10 years the USE is unlikely to undergo major changes, but this form of assessment could be expanded to include information about school graduates. He said this during a hotline about the state final certification in 2023.
“So far, I do not see the prospect that the form as an exam will be changed in the next 10 years for sure. But it will expand due to the fact that we will have more information about school students, future graduates and applicants, ”Mr. Muzaev specified (quoted by TASS).
He also stated that there is no need to divide the USE subjects into levels of complexity, like mathematics, and there are no plans to transfer the USE, except for computer science, to a computer format.
In June 2022, the head of the Ministry of Education and Science Valery Falkov informedthat Russia will move from the standards of the Bologna process, from which all Russian universities were excluded, to the domestic education system. Rosobrnadzor promised save the USE, and Anzor Muzaev spoke for phasing out the Bologna system. He allowed the abolition of the Unified State Examination if there is an alternative, but considered such an idea to be populist.
On the rejection of the Bologna system – in the material “Kommersant FM” “Higher education is practice-oriented”.
