UN urges to bring to justice the killers of Russian prisoners of war

The United Nations calls for an investigation into all cases of human rights violations, as well as bringing the perpetrators to justice, said Farhan Haq, deputy spokesman for the UN Secretary General, commenting on videos of Russian prisoners of war who were killed on the Internet.
Earlier, the UN and the International Committee of the Red Cross received a corresponding appeal from the Ombudsman of the DPR Daria Morozova. According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, Ukrainian nationalists killed ten captured Russian soldiers.
“We called on all parties to the conflict to thoroughly investigate all reports of existing human rights violations, as well as to bring the perpetrators to justice,” the UN official said in a comment to RIA Novosti.
Earlier, a video with the execution of Russian servicemen lying on the ground began to circulate on social networks. It was reported that the execution took place in Makeyevka (LPR). Video materials were sent to the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, the OSCE, the Council of Europe, Amnesty International, the International Committee of the Red Cross and other organizations.
The Investigative Committee of Russia opened a case after the execution of Russian military personnel by the AFU fighters. The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that international organizations should condemn the execution of Russian prisoners. The Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights reported that they began to study videos of murdered Russian prisoners of war.
