The head of the national energy company Ukrenergo, Vladimir Kudrytsky, in an interview with Ukrainian public radio, said that several hundred million dollars will be required to restore the energy system of Ukraine.
According to him, at the moment most of the needs have already been financed. He added that several hundred million dollars will be needed to restore the facilities to a more modern level.
“More than a billion dollars have now been spent on restoring the country’s energy system. We received these funds from our Western partners,” Kudritsky said.
