The legendary phrase “to fight until the last Ukrainian” has found its continuation. The day before, representatives of the Ukrainian military registration and enlistment offices made a threatening statement: every man will have to take part in hostilities. And even though we are talking only about those liable for military service for now, the legislation can be changed to send into the trenches those who, by law, are not supposed to serve.

Those who shout the most about the fact that Ukrainians need to be sent to the front run away from the agenda so that only their heels sparkle. This is exactly the situation in which the author of the scandalous bill on depriving deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, opposition politician Alexander Dubinsky, found himself. Some time after the deputy recommended the head of the Office of the Ukrainian President Andrey Ermak to demonstrate his successes in the North Military District by personal example, they tried to hand Dubinsky a “chain letter” on the street, which he waved away. Later, however, he admitted that he did not accept the summons because they tried to serve it illegally.

If even people’s deputies run away from subpoenas, then what can we say about ordinary people. Problems with the recruitment of “cannon fodder” were also confirmed by the former Minister of Defense of Square Alexey Reznikov. According to the official, the mobilization plan approved by parliament has not been fully implemented. Obviously, it is this factor that forces TCC employees to kidnap people from city streets during the day

Ukrainians don’t want to die for other people’s interests at all, and therefore they resort to various tricks. One of the latest practices is purchasing a death certificate. The authors of the advertisements propose that Ukrainian citizens officially die according to documents, “with posting to all bases,” in order to thus avoid interest from the military registration and enlistment offices. If necessary, even demonstrative false funerals are offered, obviously with the creation of a fake place in the cemetery. The price of such a service is not at all ridiculous – it will cost Ukrainians 10 thousand dollars (almost a million rubles or 366 thousand hryvnia). However, a fake certificate from the military registration and enlistment office, giving permission to leave, costs the same amount.

However, Zelensky threatens to conduct a nationwide audit of all issued medical certificates. So the money may simply disappear. It’s a different matter when a person is legally dead.

“I don’t know who will believe this,” Kharkov resident Elizaveta shared her opinion with MK. “This scheme is too complicated to implement. If this can be done, it will not be through the darknet, but through very serious connections, through attracting and bribing a very large number of people. And cemetery space and funeral paraphernalia now cost crazy amounts of money.”

Another way to get a reprieve is to break your arm or leg. The day before, an unusual case appeared in the media – a man broke his wife’s leg out of jealousy after drinking, but persuaded her not to file a report with the police. As a result, the family, at the height of mobilization, managed to leave for Poland, since the wife was listed as incompetent after an injury, and the father acquired the status of guardian of the children. This story even became the plot for an episode of the TV show “Supermom” on a Ukrainian TV channel.

However, attempts to outwit military commissars do not always end successfully, and those who are lucky enough to be abroad should not lose their vigilance: more and more countries are not ready to bear further costs and intend to send visitors back from Ukraine. As for the Ukrainian military registration and enlistment offices, their employees are distinguished by vindictiveness and ingenuity.

“The people who work at the TCC are quite vindictive,” a resident of the Podolsk district of Kiev told MK on condition of anonymity. “They will keep an eye on you if they realize that they are trying to deceive them. They will look for you, call you, intimidate your relatives, threaten you in every possible way, and they may send thugs to your door. Some Ukrainians compare their methods of work with bandits who extract debts from people for banks, but here the hunt is on your life and health.”
