Ukrainian TV presenter fled to Europe to “support the country from abroad”

Ukrainian presenter of Channel 24 Alexey Pechiy refused to return to his homeland after the end of the European Union summit, to which he was accredited. He reported this in his Youtube-channel.
The propagandist said that this decision was difficult for him, but it is still a forced measure. Pechiy noted that he sees the need to conduct an information struggle for Ukrainian interests directly on the territory of Europe, since recently the attitude towards Ukraine in the West has begun to change not for the better.
The media holding where Pechiy worked called the TV presenter’s actions an escape, the consequences of which he is fully aware of. “To say that I am shocked is to say nothing! They say: “Judge not, lest ye be judged.” Time will judge. And the viewers who loved watching and listening to Alexey so much must decide for themselves whether they are ready to continue to believe him,” said Roman Andreiko, general director of the media holding.
Earlier it became known about the escape of a member of the Ukrainian street fishing team, Artur Bilan. He disappeared from the team’s location after competing at the World Championships in Italy. It later turned out that while he was away, two summonses were brought home.
