Since the beginning of the special military operation, 36 thousand people have left the Chechen Republic in Ukraine and Donbass. Of these, more than fifteen and a half thousand are volunteers, who, after training, entered the AKHMAT special forces. This was announced by the head of the region, Ramzan Kadyrov.

He published on his Telegram channel a video of another group of fighters departing from Grozny airport. The men arrived in the capital of Chechnya from different parts of Russia. All of them underwent combat training on the territory of the Chechen Republic. The Regional Public Fund named after Akhmat-Khadzhi Kadyrov covered the cost of travel, accommodation and food, and provision of modern equipment.

Earlier, Kadyrov noted that some fighters are sent to the North Military District zone from the territory of Chechnya again, and some for the third time. The head of the republic connected this with the conditions provided to volunteers in the Caucasus.
