Ukrainian teenagers angered Poles after attacking their peers

Several Ukrainian teenagers attacked a group of Polish peers in the city of Wroclaw. This was announced by Wiesław Sovinski, president of the Bieszczady National Initiative association and an activist of the right-wing National Movement party. In a video posted by a public figure, a group of young people speaking Ukrainian and Russian are seen arguing with several Polish teenagers, and one of the Poles gets hit in the face several times.

In his post on social networks, Sovinsky noted that such incidents should not be hushed up, and Ukrainians living in Poland should be more responsible in their relations with local residents. He also noted that about 2.3 million Ukrainians now live in Poland, including 950,000 refugees.

“As a nation, we must solve this problem, which cannot be ignored. If we do not cope with this, such incidents will occur more and more often. If this is not stopped now, then in the future we may face even more serious problems,” wrote Sovinsky.

He also noted that now some cases of violence are “hushed up” because of the “misunderstood concept of “good relations” with Ukraine.”
