Getting a job is a difficult quest for any refugee without good connections. Among the main problems are a lot of bureaucratic fuss and complexity in paperwork. “I don’t even remember how many state offices and employment centers I traveled,” Alena, a native of Kharkov, shared with MK. – The standard reaction is to shove the person and put a tick, they say, the work is done. In the employment center, we were offered jobs with salaries of 23-25 ​​thousand rubles, and some of the people we encountered had a question on their faces: “Why did you come to us?”. Those who are more impudent and impudent can say directly to our face that we are not welcome.

How difficult was it to get citizenship?

We’ve gone through seven circles of hell. Now we live in a rented apartment, and one salary goes to pay for housing, we somehow make ends meet on the other. Getting all the necessary documents is probably the most difficult task when moving.

— And what could be the difficulty?

– For example, you can submit documents to the migration center from the third time, spending time, money and nerves, and a week later a decree is issued that everything is cancelled. Now apply for a passport. And a new quest begins.

However, not all refugees have such a difficult situation and a pessimistic attitude. “Yes, it’s hard,” the refugee Diana shared her opinion, “Yes, there is a quest with citizenship. It’s hard, but it’s like that everywhere. Moving is always difficult: to make documents, confirm them, but I won’t say that everything is so bad. And you can get a job, and pay not a penny. different people meet in organizations: someone “kicks the bullshit”, and someone, on the contrary, helps from the bottom of his heart. And in recent years, many procedures have been simplified. Yes, sometimes they give up nerves, but who said that it’s easier somewhere. ”

It is also hard for those people who, due to certain circumstances, ended up on the territory of Russia, but at the same time are not considered refugees. “We arrived on December 25 to visit relatives for the holidays, the child fell ill, and at the time of departure there were already hostilities, and that’s all. We are not entitled to any help, neither 10,000 rubles, nor humanitarian aid. And nothing – got a job and do not cry, like some. After all, the problem cannot be solved with tears,” said Yevgenia, a native of the Kharkiv region.

“But we have been in Moscow since April, and we have no relatives in Russia,” Olga shared her impressions with MK, “We have already rented a third apartment, it’s expensive, it’s over, but every time it’s better. Now we are waiting for the passport. Yes, it was hard! Highly. But along the way we met a lot of sympathetic and kind people. I try to see the positives in everything, I thank them for everything.”

– How is your family?

– Only my husband works for us, he has already changed two jobs. The child is in first grade. We were lucky with the teacher, she is excellent. We visit theaters and tours for free! The daughter played in the play. And many more interesting things! I’m glad that we left the basement and accidentally got here …

– How do you like the capital of Russia, did you manage to see Moscow?

– I liked the city. We were in Gorky Park, it is very beautiful there. We just celebrated my daughter’s birthday there.
