Temperature records were broken on Saturday in St. Petersburg and Moscow, where the air warmed up to 11.2-12.3 degrees. Mikhail Leus, the leading specialist of the Phobos Center, announced this on his Telegram channel.
According to the forecaster, in the capital, the air warmed up to +12.3 by the end of the day. The previous daily record, set on November 12, 2010, was three degrees lower. At the same time, in St. Petersburg, the previous maximum of 2008 was exceeded by 0.4 degrees. The thermometers were able to rise to +11.2.
According to Leus, in November, nature finished with record highs. Earlier, meteorologists warned that record warming will be replaced by a sharp cooling. According to the head of the laboratory of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia, Lyudmila Parshina, a new week will begin with it in all central regions. Precipitation will turn into snow. At the same time, daily temperatures will not exceed +2…+3 degrees.
