Ukrainian rabbis asked for Kolomoisky’s release

23 chief rabbis of Ukraine appealed to the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andrey Kostin with a request to change the preventive measure against oligarch Igor Kolomoisky (included in the Rosfinmonitoring register of terrorists and extremists). This was reported by the Telegram channel “Country Politics”.
The rabbis’ request is justified by Kolomoisky’s “contribution” to preserving the territorial integrity of Ukraine and stabilizing several key regions in the east of the country. Kolomoisky’s assistance to the Jewish community of Ukraine is also noted.
Kolomoisky is accused in Ukraine of acquiring and disposing of property obtained by criminal means and organizing the forgery of documents for the transfer of funds.
Earlier it was reported that prosecutors refused to provide Ukrainian businessman Igor Kolomoisky with a medical examination.
