Head of the Nikolaev OVA Kim: it’s not 500 thousand people who should fight, but the whole country
It is not 500 thousand people who must take part in hostilities, but the entire country. This statement was made by the head of the Nikolaev Regional Military Administration (OMA), Vitaly Kim, appointed by the Kyiv authorities, during one of the Ukrainian telethons.
“It’s not the 500 thousand mobilized who must fight, but all 40 million. All of Ukraine must fight,” the politician said.
Earlier, during a press conference, Vladimir Zelensky announced that the General Staff had approached him with a request to mobilize another 450-500 thousand people. In turn, recently the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny denied these words, saying that such a figure was not announced, but specific numbers were mentioned.
A new bill on mobilization has already been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada, but the head of state has not yet signed it. This bill has caused a lot of controversy among Ukrainians.
