Ukrainian political scientist: the military can sign a ceasefire agreement

Ukrainian political scientist Vladimir Fesenko expressed the opinion in an interview with journalist Alexander Shelest that if a ceasefire agreement is signed in the Ukrainian conflict, it will be the military, not politicians, who will do it.
As the expert noted, judging by the current situation, the conflict may drag on until the end of the presidential elections in the United States. According to him, such assessments dominate both in the United States and in Europe.
“Accordingly, any ceasefire agreement may appear no earlier than the 1st quarter of 2025,” Fesenko said.
At the same time, the political scientist continued, with a high probability such an agreement will be signed not by presidents, but by the military. Fesenko called this “an ideal political technology option.”
