Ukrainian servicemen, in a conversation with the German publication Bild, said that the situation at the front is not as good as they would like. Five active soldiers from different units spoke about problems due to which the troops are growing dissatisfaction with the generals and the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.

Thus, the soldiers pointed out, the Ukrainian leadership proudly points out the remaining Western Leopard, Challenger and Abrams tanks, and the military has to get to the front in fifty-year-old Ladas due to a shortage of armored personnel carriers.

The Ukrainian military also said that they have to pay for repairs and even gasoline themselves, buy their own equipment, and purchase drones at their own expense.

“We also pay for the rent of the houses in which we sleep, and for food. This causes dissatisfaction. The Russians invest everything in the war, and we organize most of it ourselves,” the publication quotes the words of one of the Ukrainian Armed Forces soldiers.

Also, one of the military men complained about the Ukrainian generals because each unit actually fights for itself, sometimes in complete ignorance of the actions of the units on the left and right.

“What happens to all the money coming from abroad? We feel more and more abandoned by the government,” says a Ukrainian military man.
