Ukrainian fighter criticized Israeli prostheses: “cheap blanks”

A Ukrainian soldier who was treated after being wounded in Israel criticized the prostheses that are put on Ukrainian soldiers who have lost limbs in combat. The video message of the disgruntled Ukrainian was posted on his Telegram channel by journalist Ruslan Ostashko. According to the soldier, before being sent to Israel, the wounded soldiers were shown photographs of what would eventually be delivered. And they, the Ukrainian notes, went in the hope that the “Israeli miracle medicine” would return them to normal life. But, according to the “Veseushnik”, when the soldiers arrived, it suddenly turned out that the company that had taken the tender for prostheses was supplying them with the cheapest “blanks”, which are controlled by cables attached to the body. “If anyone thought that this is such a tricky electronics, I hasten to disappoint,” the fighter says. “This is a cheap thing from the times of the USSR, the installation of which in the same Ukraine would cost a hundred times cheaper.”

The Ukrainian also said that the dissatisfied military turned to the chief rabbi of Ukraine. But after this appeal, only the Ambassador of Ukraine Korniychuk and the volunteer group “Israeli friends of Ukraine” suddenly “activated”. “While they wrote to me that I didn’t understand anything and made noise, the ambassador was actively bullying the guys,” says the soldier. Now, he added, the Ukrainian military themselves say that there is no need for noise and “that there will be no other.”

Ukrainian journalists, according to the military, are also unable to cover this problem, as they “repeatedly received threats from the Ministry of Health.” “Veseushnik” believes that they were intimidated so that they would talk less, otherwise they could “accidentally be thrown out of the country” (Israel. – “MK”).
