The former head coach of the Ukrainian national team, Jozsef Szabo, accused the leaders of FIFA and UEFA of “living on Russian money.”
This is how he reacted to information about the possible holding of an international tournament under the auspices of UEFA in Volgograd.
According to him, he “doesn’t like this approach of football organizations at all”.
“These organizations are headed by people who sold themselves to Russia for money. I think it could not have done without Gazprom’s money,” he said.
Szabo believes that UEFA and FIFA will soon allow Russian clubs and the national team to participate in their tournaments.
“Infantino and Ceferin live off the money of Russia and other countries. They sold the World Cup to Russia and Qatar,” he said.
Earlier, UEFA said that despite the removal of Russian clubs, the organization would not want Russia to join the Asian Football Federation.
