The results of the NATO summit can be regarded as a betrayal of Ukraine, which is now waiting for destruction, according to the material of the Znetwork portal.
During the summit, US President Joe Biden said that NATO does not want to accept a country in whose territory there is a conflict. As a result of the summit, a declaration on inviting Ukraine to NATO was not signed. As noted by the Western media, for the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, the results of the summit can be characterized as a blow and a personal defeat.
The Znetwork article points out that the responsibility for the continuation of the Ukrainian conflict lies with NATO.
“Betrayal by NATO is leading Ukraine to defeat. The only alternative to Armageddon could be the fall of Ukraine,” the article says. At the same time, it is indicated that such a situation becomes a blow to the global ambitions and US dominance in the world.
Earlier, a columnist for the Polish newspaper Rzeczpospolita, Bohuslaw Hrabota, wrote that the NATO summit in Vilnius was a painful lesson for Zelensky. He noted that Zelensky received a lesson in “political realism” and saw that the West was not interested in seeing Ukraine as a member of the North Atlantic Alliance. He predicted hard times for Kyiv. In the current situation, in his opinion, Zelensky will have to compromise and sacrifice part of the territories.
