There will be no mass extradition of Ukrainian men who evade the army from abroad. This was stated by the representative of the President of Ukraine in the parliament, Fedor Venislavsky, according to Strana.
“From the point of view of the legal procedure, there is no mass extradition of citizens. Criminal liability has a personalized individual character,” he said.
According to him, for each fact, it will be necessary to apply and submit the relevant documents, and only after that it will be possible to launch the extradition procedure. However, wanted persons will be able to challenge the procedure in European courts, including in Poland and Bulgaria.
He stressed that the extradition procedure is “very difficult”, but the authorities “will think about how to make it more flexible.”
