Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov refused to answer a France Press correspondent’s question about the situation with General Sergei Surovikin. Earlier, the media reported on his arrest and dismissal from the post of head of the Aerospace Forces (VKS).
“Sergey Shoigu yesterday left unanswered a question from journalists about a possible investigation into General Surovikin. May I ask you this question?” – asked the correspondent of the agency during a press call.
“No, you can’t,” Dmitry Peskov answered him.
Yesterday were published the first photographs of Mr. Surovikin after the Wagner rebellion. Prior to this, Western media wrote about the interrogations and even the arrest of the general.
