The number of Russian Geran drones that attacked Reni in the Odessa region reached 25, the Politika strany Telegram channel reports, citing a statement by the Ukrainian military.

It is also reported that 22 drones were allegedly shot down.

Earlier, the Ukrainian media reported a powerful explosion in Odessa. An air alert was declared in the region. Russian Telegram channels reported that a large group of Geran-2 kamikaze drones entered targets near the Danube ports (Izmail, Reni) in the Odessa region. According to Ukrainian monitoring channels, at least three explosions were recorded in the area.

The report of the Dambiev channel says that at night the Geranis arrived at the port of Reni on the Danube River in the Odessa region. This transport terminal is used by Ukrainians to supply the Armed Forces of Ukraine with weapons and equipment, and also serves as a channel for the export of Ukrainian grain and other products, the report says.

Attacks on the Ukrainian infrastructure of the Russian Armed Forces began on October 10, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean bridge. Military installations, as well as energy infrastructure, are being attacked. Since then, air raid alerts have been announced every day in the Ukrainian regions, sometimes all over the country.
