Il Sussidiario: Kyiv attacks Russia with drones to escalate the conflict

The Italian edition of Il Sussidiario concluded that the Ukrainian side is attacking Russia with drones to escalate the conflict and bring NATO troops to the battlefield.
The author of the publication pointed out two goals that are being pursued. “Firstly, to make the Russians feel they are vulnerable, and secondly, to lead Moscow into an escalation that will trigger NATO involvement,” he writes.
The journalist believes that Ukraine can hope to win the conflict only if it enters the NATO battlefield. Therefore, despite statements by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky that he does not want to attack Russian territory, Kyiv is doing just the opposite.
The article also notes that drone attacks in Russia are carried out without the use of Western weapons, but information support for the strikes comes from Ukraine’s allies in the alliance.
Earlier, Deputy Chairman of the Russian Federation to the UN Dmitry Polyansky said that a direct clash could occur between Russia and NATO. He drew attention to the active participation of the bloc in the Ukrainian conflict and noted that NATO supplies Kyiv with weapons and transmits intelligence from satellites. Also, according to him, there are signs that the alliance is sending its soldiers to Ukraine.
