Ukraine legalizes foreign mercenaries

The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a law allowing foreigners to serve in the National Guard of the Republic and in the Azov terrorist regiment banned in the Russian Federation.
Previously, citizens of other countries could officially serve only in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Foreign “soldiers of fortune” from the beginning of the SVO illegally took part in hostilities. From now on, they have received official status and will be able to apply for Ukrainian citizenship.
On the eve it became known that in Krasnogorovka (DNR) was discovered and destroyed point of temporary deployment of foreign mercenaries. Losses amounted to 30-40 people.
