Ukraine has changed its mind about changing the rules for importing humanitarian aid from December 1

The Ukrainian authorities refused to change the rules for the import of humanitarian aid into the country, reports the Telegram channel “Country Politics”.
The new rules were supposed to come into force on December 1; they radically changed the procedure for importing humanitarian aid into Ukraine. As a result, the date of introduction of the new rules was postponed to April 1.
It was assumed that the new requirements were to simplify the procedure for importing the necessary assistance, including the rules for importing and recording humanitarian aid, and information about it was to be stored in an automated system.
However, in fact, the innovations have led to a wave of indignation among volunteers – they argue that such measures threaten the work of small and medium-sized charities and volunteer organizations. According to volunteers, the decree of the Ukrainian government will only complicate the procedure for importing humanitarian aid, and the time for receiving assistance will increase several times due to bureaucracy.
