In Ukraine they proposed sending officials to the front

Ukrainian officials need to be sent to the front, Armed Forces of Ukraine reserve colonel Roman Svitan said in an interview with Radio NV. His words are quoted by RIA Novosti.
Svitan argued his proposal by the shortage of military personnel. According to him, all officials receiving funds from the state must be military personnel. He called this category the “backbone” of the state, but only about 1 percent of them serve in the military.
“And we need all of them, including security forces, security companies – they all must be called in,” Svitan said.
He also believes that if several hundred thousand officials are called upon, this will not in any way affect the work of government agencies that do not need so many people.
In Ukraine, martial law was introduced on February 24, 2022, and the next day Vladimir Zelensky signed a decree on general mobilization. Leaving the country for men aged 18 to 60 years is prohibited during this period.
