On Wednesday, January 24, at 13:00 in the afternoon, an exchange was supposed to take place between Russia and Ukraine in the place where it usually takes place – in the Krasnoyaruzhsky district of the Belgorod region. Telegram channel reports this Mash.
It is noted that the Ukrainian side knew about the exchange and was preparing an exchange fund.
According to the channel, prisoners of war of the Ukrainian army were always delivered by plane. Most often, the IL-76 was used for just this purpose.
According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, there were 65 Ukrainian prisoners of war on the downed plane, as well as six crew members and three accompanying persons.
