The village of Tetkino and the village of Popovo-Lezhachi, Kursk region, came under fire from Ukraine, reported regional governor Roman Starovoit in his Telegram channel.
Both settlements are located in the Glushkovsky district bordering Ukraine. According to the head of the region, a total of six arrivals were recorded.
“One of the shells hit the substation area, causing the grass to catch fire. Also, due to damage to the power line in part of the village of Tetkino, the power supply was disrupted,” Starovoit wrote, adding that emergency crews will begin restoration work as soon as it is safe to do so.
Earlier today, the village of Uspenovka, Korenevsky district, came under fire from the Ukrainian military. Authorities reported about three victims, one of whom was seriously injured. The same village was attacked the evening before, Starovoit wrote. On September 14, he reported that a forklift driver was killed as a result of shelling in the village of Tetkino. Then the arrival of shells was recorded in Elizavetovka, Krasnooktyabrsky, Glushkovsky district, etc.
The Kursk region is regularly subjected to shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The region has an indefinite high (“yellow”) level of terrorist threat. The same regime operates in the Belgorod, Rostov, Bryansk regions, as well as in Sevastopol and Crimea.
