The Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) has appealed to the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and the International Football Federation (FIFA) with a demand to prevent Russia’s match with the team of Bosnia and Herzegovina. This was reported on the UAF website.

A friendly match is supposed to be held in St. Petersburg on November 19, the BiH team became the first European team to agree to play the Russians after 24 February.

The UAF also applied to the Football Union of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The UAF said that against the background of the removal of Russian teams from international football competitions, the decision of the national team looks like support for the actions of the Russian Federation in Ukraine.

The publication Dnevni Avaz reported that for the friendly match the Football Union of BiH will receive €205,000. In addition, according to media reports, the national team will be paid for travel to St. Petersburg and accommodation there.
