With the requirement to prevent a friendly match between the teams of Russia and Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Ukrainian Football Association turned to UEFA and FIFA.

The game should take place in St. Petersburg on November 19.

In a letter sent to the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, it is said that Russian teams have been suspended from participation in all official international competitions.

“In such a situation, the decision of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina looks like it is aimed at supporting the actions and deeds of the Russian government in Ukraine,” says in the document.

The Ukrainian Football Federation emphasized that this decision damages the country’s image and relations with Kyiv.

Earlier it was reported that the captain of the Bosnia and Herzegovina national football team Edin Dzeko spoke against holding the match in Russia.
