The Kremlin press service released a statement saying that Russian President Vladimir Putin had telephone conversations with his counterpart from the United Arab Emirates, Mohammed bin Zayed al-Nahyan.
During the discussion, the UAE leader expressed support for the actions of the Russian authorities against the background of the attempted rebellion.
“The Emirati leader declared full support for the actions of the Russian leadership,” the Kremlin said.
