Two Vologda women brought medals from the All-Russian boxing competitions

Traditional boxing tournaments for the prizes of Honored Master of Sports Sofia Ochigava have ended in Moscow. She is an Olympic finalist in 2012, a three-time European champion and a two-time world boxing champion.
173 girls from Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan took part in the All-Russian competitions. The Vologda region was represented by pupils of a children’s sports school from Cherepovets. Alesya Belyaeva and Arina Ryumina took places on the podium.
So, Arina took the gold medal, defeating her rival from Moscow. Alesya took second place. The girl was in three fights. She won two. Only in the final did the athlete lose the victory to the representative of the Moscow region.
