Tulitsa volleyball players Olga Yuryeva and Ekaterina Timoshkova received the title “Master of Sports of the Russian Federation.” Their award ceremony took place before the 25th round match of the Super League with Leningradka. It was attended by the head of the Ministry of Sports of the Tula region, Dmitry Yakovlev, and the president of the Tulitsa volleyball club, Nikolai Terekhov. The volleyball players were solemnly presented with badges and certificates.
The high title was also awarded to ex-Tulitsa volleyball player Evgenia Bayandina, who played for the team for two seasons and is now the director of the Atom-Kursk sports club.
In Kursk, interestingly, Ekaterina Timoshkova started playing. Since 2020, the volleyball player has been playing for Tulitsa. And from “Primorochka” Olga Yuryeva came to Tula to play in the same year.
“Tulitsa” one round before the end of the main draw took seventh place in the standings, and “Tulitsa” will play in an away match with “Atom” on March 20.
