As part of the Russian arm wrestling championship taking place in Orel, an official award ceremony was held to award the best armwrestlers in the country.
An athlete from Karachay-Cherkessia Albert Kenzhev was awarded as the best junior arm wrestler (21) in Russia based on the results of 2023, as reported in the Telegram channel of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic.
The award ceremony was held by the President of the Armwrestling Federation of the Russian Federation Alexander Filimonov, the Head of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Oryol Region Alexey Berestov and the Vice President of the Armwrestling Federation of the Russian Federation Dzhemal Kukutidze.
It was previously reported that KCR athletes were selected for the European Grappling Championship.
