“Two long-range strategic missile carriers Tu-95MS carried out a planned flight in the airspace over the neutral waters of the Barents and Norwegian seas,” the Russian defense department said in a statement.
The Russian Ministry of Defense emphasized that the flight lasted for four hours.
The commander of long-range aviation, Lieutenant General Sergei Kobylash, stated that the flight was carried out in accordance with international rules for the use of airspace.
