Two new sports facilities will open their doors in Krasnodar in the near future

Two new sports and recreation complexes (FOC) will open in the Kuban capital very soon. One of them is located on Sormovskaya Street, and the second is located near the airport, on Fadeeva Street.

How reports official information portal of the mayor’s office of the regional center, both institutions have already been put into operation. Now the only question is the speed of completing all the documentation necessary for the work. FOCs are planned to be put into operation in the second quarter of this year.

“We don’t plan to stop there; we will continue to work and pick up the pace. By 2030, our goal is to increase the number of people constantly involved in sports to 70%, – wrote in his Telegram channel, the head of the city, Evgeny Naumov.

The sports facility on Sormovskaya Street was built on the territory of school No. 20. It occupies almost 1,550 square meters. m. Here, fans of team games will be able to practice basketball, volleyball, handball, and football. Also inside the complex there was a grandstand for spectators, a medical room, locker rooms and showers.

Athletes from Olympic Reserve Sports School No. 3 will conduct their training at the trampoline center on Fadeeva Street. There is also a gym and a medical room for young athletes.
