Construction and renovation of 35 sports facilities are underway in the Vologda region

For the period 2024-2025, the region’s budget provides over 1.8 billion rubles for the construction, reconstruction and improvement of sports facilities. Additional funds have been allocated from regional and local budgets for major repairs of sports facilities.
At the moment, 35 sports facilities are in operation. Construction of three sports and recreation centers is underway. In Vologda, Ustyuzhna and Cherepovets, sports and recreation centers were built and put into operation. It is planned to renovate six sports and recreation centers in rural settlements.
This summer, the construction of FOKOT will be completed in the village of Roslyatino, Babushkinsky district. This spring, renovations will begin in Vologda at five school stadiums. In addition, the construction of two sports grounds in Nyuksenitsa and four stadiums in Vozhega, Vytegra, Kharovsk and Nikolsk is underway. This year, major renovations will also be carried out at the Dynamo stadium in Vologda. It is also planned to complete the construction of a hockey court in Kharovsk and begin construction of a football arena in the regional capital.
