Two Lipsk residents won international kickboxing competitions.
Pupils of the Regional Sports School of Olympic Reserve received medals from international competitions – the Open Championship and the SCO Championship of the Russian Kickboxing Federation.
Representative of the Lipetsk region, candidate master of sports, member of the Russian national team Sergei Ilkovsky rose to the highest step of the podium. He was awarded a gold medal. The second place was taken by candidate for master of sports Stanislav Leshchenko. The Lipetsk team is coached by Evgeniy Kyzyma.
The events took place from October 27 to 29 in Ramenskoye near Moscow. Over 700 athletes from 16 countries and 55 regions of Russia took part.
At the start of the competition, representatives of Russia, India, China, Algeria and Afghanistan signed a memorandum of interaction and cooperation in kickboxing.
