Athletes from the Podolsk walrus club “Umka” won 2 gold medals at the Fourth Stage of the Russian Cup in winter swimming. This was reported in the social networks of the organization.
The competitions were held in Kaliningrad on Lake Shenflies on the basis of the hardening and winter swimming complex. The swim was attended by 120 strongest athletes from 20 regions of Russia, as well as Belarus, Poland, Germany and Serbia.
Participants competed in distances from 25 to 200 meters. The water temperature was only 2 degrees. As a result, athletes from Moscow Region earned 2 gold medals.
