The Yaroslavl football club continues to update its roster: both the team’s playing staff and the coaching staff. On January 9, it became known that physical training coach Danil Dresvyannikov and goalkeeping coach Vladimir Pchelnikov had left Shinnik.
The club reports that agreements on early termination of contracts were reached and the parties parted amicably.
Yaroslavl football fans associate all the changes in the lineup with the arrival of the new coach Dmitry Cheryshev. The head coach, who replaced Dmitry Khomukha in December, will have to pull the club out of 13th place in the FNL standings. Apparently, he is recruiting a team with which he personally will be more comfortable performing the assigned tasks.
“During the winter break, players Dmitry Guz, Artem Samsonov, Dmitry Malykhin, Alexander Stavpets left the team. To date, Maxim Polyakov, Artem Golubev and Gleb Yakushevich have become Yaroslavl’s newcomers,” the club clarifies about the changes in the playing lineup.
Today, January 10, the players, coaching staff and team staff are gathering at the Belkino base after the winter holidays. The new head coach will announce the team’s goals for the upcoming training period.
