From December 14, the bus carrier Ecolines intends to resume flights between Russia and Finland. About it “Interfax” said company representative Andrey Volkov. He clarified that the routes are being resumed due to the decision of the Finnish authorities to lift restrictions on the operation of the Vaalimaa international road checkpoint.
He also added that the first flight from the Northern capital to Helsinki will depart on December 14 at 06:45, from the Finnish capital to St. Petersburg – at 14:30. At the same time, starting from the 15th, Ecolines will begin to operate two flights in each direction, and by the 20th – three.
In addition, another bus carrier, Lux Express, also announced plans to gradually resume international services from December 13, depending on technical capabilities and demand. The first flight from Helsinki to St. Petersburg departs on December 13 at 21:30, in the opposite direction – on the same date at 23:30.
