Tver skier Nepryaeva wins the skiathlon

Skier from Tver Natalya Nepryaeva won the skiathlon, which was held as part of the sixth stage of the Russian Cup in Syktyvkar.
The length of the distance was 15 kilometers, and the skiers had to run half the way in the classic course, and the other – in the skate. Our compatriot overcame this path in 42.32.8 minutes, and Veronika Stepanova was only 5.4 seconds behind her. Ekaterina Smirnova finished third, 25.1 seconds behind the leader.
Nepryaeva and Stepanova competed at the Beijing Olympics for the Russian team. During the relay they are together with Yulia Stupak and Tatyana Sorina won gold medals.
